So we’ve all heard that Kelis song that talks about milkshakes and what not. Cool song, BUT THIS MILKSHAKE WILL NOT BE BRINGING ANY BOYS TO THE YARD! Sorry for yelling. Staying indoors is doing a number on me.
Anyways, temperatures are rising and we had a future little Mija chef create a milkshake recipe that can help cool you off during this heat. This milkshake is sure to bring the FAMILY to the KITCHEN and it’s easy and safe enough for little Mijas and Mijos to do on their own, with a little help from mom and dad. Enjoy!
- Chocolate Ice cream (4 small scoops)
- 1 Banana
- Milk of your choice (2 1/2 cups)
- Oats (1/2 cup)
- 1 spoon of peanut butter
- A pinch of cinnamon
- Don’t forget your blender!
1.) Once you’ve collected all of your ingredients, place them all in the blender.
2.) Don’t forget to secure your blender to avoid a mess that will make moms all over the world want to drink before 10 a.m.
3.) Plug in that blender!
4.) Blend for about 30 seconds to a minute. (Depending on if you like your milkshake thick or more liquidy.)
5.) Serve and enjoy your milkshake with the family!
