EL PASO, Texas– After a successful back to school supply drop off event, The Mija project was able to gather school supplies from the community to benefit the children at the Center Against Sexual and Family Violence in El Paso, Texas.
Dozens of locals showed their support and stopped by Border City Ale House in the triple digit heat to drop off supplies that ranged in backpacks, regular school supplies, headphones, and cleaning supplies.
Local east El Paso Target Store 0823 donated a gift card for over $200 to the shelter and over $200 in monetary donations were also collected from The Mija’s back to school drop off drive.
The Center Against Sexual and Family Violence is still accepting donations. Click Here if you would like to make a donations to the shelter.
